From Adam Schefter: Jaguars have had trade discussions with other teams regarding RB Leonard Fournette, league sources tell ESPN. Fournette is due $4.16 million in base salary in 2020. It’s a situation that bears watching as this week’s draft approaches.
I think this would be an ideal trade for the Eagles, who lost Jordan Howard to free agency in March. Fournette has not been used correctly in Jacksonville and a new location would do him wonders.
Fournette had 1,152 yards and 3 TD last season for the Jaguars.
The Eagles could use some size at RB to support Miles Sanders, who is utilized in both the pass and run game.
In order for this work out for the Eagles, Fournette needs to be able to accept a role with less carries.
This is all hypothetical. Let me know what you think.
